Cue the glitter and grab your shades—Gather 22 is throwing a Tea Dance, and you’re absolutely invited.
On Sunday, June 1 from 2–6PM, we’re transforming our sun-drenched veranda into a vintage-inspired, open-air disco party to kick off Pride Month in style. Think: golden hour grooves, summer cocktails, and just enough daylight drama to make you forget it's still the weekend.
The best part? No cover. No RSVP. Just rhythm.

What’s a Tea Dance, Anyway?
Tea dances date back to the 1920s—once prim and proper afternoon affairs. But over the decades, they’ve been reimagined by LGBTQ+ communities into vibrant, joy-filled daytime celebrations. Our version? Less doilies, more disco.
With insights and inspiration from folks who’ve attended iconic tea dances across the country, we’re bringing that same spirit to Indianapolis—Gather style.
What to Expect
Rotating live DJs spinning everything from classic house to modern disco
Signature summer cocktails (yes, the punch will be flowing)
Light snacks available for purchase
Plenty of open-air space to move, vibe, and take in the view
There’s no dress code—but if fringe, mesh, and oversized sunglasses make an appearance, we won’t complain.
