About the event
Celebrate Pride Month with Gather 22’s annual Tea Dance on June 7th from 3–7pm. Rooted in LGBTQ+ history, Tea Dances began in the 1950s and 60s as safe Sunday afternoon gatherings where queer communities could dance, connect, and celebrate freely during a time when many bars and public spaces were unsafe or unwelcoming. So, imagine you're on fire island in the 60s dancing your little gay heart away - but now make it Indiana and a kick ass patio. Just as good right?
Join us on the patio for cocktails, dancing, great food, and a DJ 5lap spinning upbeat favorites throughout the day.
